Malaysia Vegetable Oil Refinery Sdn Bhd (MVO) was incorporated in Malaysia in 1973 and approved by the government in line with the national initiative to encourage export oriented industries in new industrial and designated development areas. Hence, in response to this and also recognizing the growing importance of Pasir Gudang as the premier port of South Peninsula Malaysia, MVO located its refinery in Pasir Gudang Industrial Estate in close proximity to a vast hinterland recognized as the prime palm oil producing region in the country.

Malaysia Vegetable Oil Refinery (MVO) is involved in the refinery and downstream production of vegetable oils.

The integrated process that MVO has, makes it one of the most comprehensive manufacturer of vegetable based products. Today MVO has the following processes in house:
